About these terms
cutedgecorrosion.co.uk is operated by Allbase Group Ltd, company number 09611962, of Cutter Mill, Tileyard North, Wakefield WF1 5FY. Using the site means accepting these terms. They were last reviewed on 23 September 2026.
Using the site
The site is here to explain cut edge corrosion, the systems that treat it and the contractors who carry the work out, and to take a request for a free assessment.
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, submit anything unlawful or misleading through its forms, or collect data from it by automated means beyond ordinary search indexing.
What the content is, and is not
Guidance here describes how cut edge corrosion behaves in general and how the systems are specified. It is written carefully and reviewed, but it is general information rather than advice about one particular roof.
A specification for your building follows a survey of it. The grade the assessment form shows is indicative, worked out from what was entered, and is confirmed or corrected on site.
Text, images, drawings and the design of this site belong to Allbase Group Ltd or are used under licence. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine; republishing whole pages is not.
What you send
Sending an assessment request, an enquiry or a review confirms that the details are accurate as far as you know, and that you are entitled to share any photograph or document attached.
A review submitted for publication may be published on this site alongside the work it describes, and can be withdrawn on request. Personal data in anything you send is handled as set out in the privacy policy.
Availability
The site is kept available so far as is reasonable, without guaranteeing that it is uninterrupted or free of error. Pages and the systems described may change, and parts may be withdrawn, without notice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under law. Subject to that, liability for loss arising from use of this site, or from reliance on its general guidance in place of a survey, is excluded so far as the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
